Schools for Intelligent Energy Use

The Schools for Intelligent Energy Use (SIEU) project builds a bridge between 114 intermediate vocational schools and civil societies in 9 countries. The main objective is to increase the involvement and responsibility of a large group of intermediate vocational school students, teachers, businesses, local governments/municipalities in the field of energy saving and renewable energy technology. The aim of SIEU is to build upon the established Schools for Sustainability (SfS) approach to “Energy”, i.e. energy saving, sustainability and renewable energy technologies. Using the project partners' energy education expertise, the SfS approach will be transformed into SIEU. This developed SIEU methodology will be shared and widened to the UK, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Hungary, Romania, Spain, Czech Republic and Bulgaria.
