Nature School, Bulgaria The Nature School is based in Vlahi village, municipality of Kresna, Southwest Bulgaria. The main purposes of the school is to raise environmental awareness of the people. To that effect, Nature School has the mission to organize short- and long-term demonstration visits for students from schools in Blagoevgrad region and the whole country, for families with children, for university students and other young people as well as for researchers and other tourists willing to learn about nature, culture, customs and traditions of the local population. The Nature School is a sustainability project integrating ecological education, opportunities for volunteer work in environmental protection and initiation into local popular customs and culture. |
