Nature School, Bulgaria The Nature School is based in Vlahi village, municipality of Kresna, Southwest Bulgaria. The main purposes of the school is to raise environmental awareness of the people.

To that effect, Nature School has the mission to organize short- and long-term demonstration visits for students from schools in Blagoevgrad region and the whole country, for families with children, for university students and other young people as well as for researchers and other tourists willing to learn about nature, culture, customs and traditions of the local population.

The Nature School is a sustainability project integrating ecological education, opportunities for volunteer work in environmental protection and initiation into local popular customs and culture.

Eco Focus is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 1993 with the main goal to inform the population concerning the environmental problems and to represent the public interest and promote the public participation concerning the sustainable development.
